Supernatural - Seas 1 vs Seas 6

I'm over on Writer's Evolution today too, so when you're done here, check it out.

Yes, another Supernatural post. Hey, I need to do something to keep busy in off-season. I may even write some fan-fic this year. Perhaps something about season 6 never happening. But anyway... In an effort to do further analysis (and to procrastinate doing other things I really should be doing) I made another chart/list (click to enlarge).

To the naked eye, they look similar. Fans were promised more monsters and a year more like season one. True. There are almost the same number of monsters. What I found though in looking at this, is that I almost forgot many of the episodes because there was so much other stuff. They weren't focused on the monsters and hunting them.

In other seasons, if Lucy said: the one about Bloody Mary, I'd know exactly which one. Or if Summer said: the one about the Werewolf, I'd remember how I cried.

This year if you said, the one about the spiders, I'd be hard pressed to remember what you mean.

Pros and Con List - Church Version

I sing at church regularly as one of the song leaders. We have an intern overseeing the groups this year. He shuffled up things and I ended up in a group I dislike. I had to take a serious look at whether or not to stay on. It’s that bad…believe me, you have to be involved to understand, but here’s my pros and cons list (click on list to see full size):

American Cheese

You want to know why the world doesn’t respect us? American cheese. Seriously, we’re dumb enough to not know that’s not real cheese. It’s not even remotely natural. Do not get me started on cheese loaf or cheese spread (also made by the same company that manufactures most American cheese, but I’m carefully not mentioning brand names).

I personally feel American cheese is vile. Agree or disagree if you will, but there you have it. Brynn’s opinion. Hey, it’s my blog. You can’t avoid it.

But here’s a cold cheesy fact:

American cheese and cockroaches will be the things to survive nuclear fallout. My anatomy teacher once had a slice of American cheese pinned to his bulletin board for an entire year. Nothing happened to it…and I have by good authority that it was more than a year old. Would it still be there, if I visited today?

It disturbs me that we’re allowing our kids to eat this stuff and think it’s real cheese. It’s not!!! Cheese is not spit out of a machine into thin, square-shaped molds.

Below is some REAL cheese:
