Some More RT-ness

Let’s start with the people I met (the same people I miss already):

Anny Cook—she is the Zen queen she’s been purported to be. I’ve been waffling lately, and she put me on the right track without even knowing it. Anny is a wonderful lady and I was glad to meet her. Her house hunk was very nice too.

Kelly Kirch—Yes she has great eyes whether she wants to admit it or not. Very cute. Very nice. Fun to be around. She could be the little sister I never had, though she’s not as snarky as I am. With time, I’m sure that could be corrected. Like Anny, it was wonderful to finally meet Kelly after spending so much time on her blog.

Kaenar Langford—OMG, this woman is a trip. She’s a tiny bundle of fun and quirkiness. Everyday I checked out her funky shoes. And oh the stories she can tell about her bathhouse research…

Kate Poole—Very nice lady and a bundle of fun. I was lucky enough to sit beside her at the book signing. (I love her book Anchor and Storm. An excellent read)

M.A. Ellis—My goodness, this woman can network and promo!! She’s a machine. And very nice. I was thrilled to finally meet her.

Judith Rochelle—Brilliant woman and talented. And very, very sweet. I have been dying to meet her and it was everything I’d hoped. Judith is a fantastic lady.

Cindy Spencer Pape—Cindy was always there with a smile and cheer. And you should see her dragon wings…

Catherine Chernow—Catherine helped us stuff bags for TEB. She was so helpful and cheerful. And she has quite a New York accent. It was cool to meet her. I love her book Diary of a Mad Escort.

Claire from TEB—speaking of accents… I could have listened to Claire talk all week. It was excellent to be able to spend so much time with her during the week. What a great lady to be associated with…and fun too.

And the ones I knew, three of my best friends:

Carol Lynne—One of the sweetest, most genuine people I know. I was thrilled to be able to spend so much time with her. I cried when she left Saturday morning.

Lacey Thorn—Lacey knows how to party and have a good time. Beyond that she’s caring and fun to be with. I can’t wait until we party again… The first drinks are on me!

Bronwyn Green—RT wouldn’t have been the same without my best friend in all the world.

I heartily agree with your descriptions of everyone. These are seriously some of the most amazing people I've ever met. And I was thrilled to be there with you too, Blinky-My-Love.

Stephens was her last name. Er, is, I mean.

I had very much the same impressions as you, sans the Kelly one. But then we never see ourselves like that do we?

So tell me. Do you all still think I'm perky? It's my last burning question. I hate perky people.

One person you forgot: Brynn Paulin. Brynn is snarky/funny with a wicked smirk and the ability to stun you with double meanings. She's vivacious and smart with all the trappings of a fabulous tender heart.

It was interesting though how close everyone actually was to what I imagined. Very interesting...

Hey there, Brynn!

It was great to meet you and the Totalebound gang at RT. I think that's my favorite part of any RT conference, getting to meet the people face-to-face that I interact with on-line.

And uh, of course...meeting some hunky cover models............

LOL!
